If the SEC schedules FCS patsies the week before their rivalry games, many of which are against ACC opponents, why does the ACC not follow suit and do the same???

The advantages that the SEC gains over the ACC teams are blatantly obvious. A couple that come to mind are preparing more for the rivalry game in advance (i.e., this week and next) and the luxury of likely getting to pull your starters earlier this week.
Are the ACC ADs and coaches not bothered by this? It seems so obvious that you are putting ACC teams at a competitive disadvantage that is simply unnecessary.

Their schedules also seem to favor their strongest contenders. They are smart in building their brand. ACC doesn’t care about anything but North Carolina basketball schools

If you are implying that The Citadel is a patsy, think again. As I recall, they beat an SEC last time I saw them on TV. Oh wait, it was....
