Question about TJ Green...

Dec 6, 2015, 5:08 PM

And no, nothing to do with that terrible targeting penalty.

In 2014 he had 21 kickoff returns for a team-high 445 yards... Considering our lack of return performance, why aren't we using him in this capacity this year???

Answer: He's the starting FS that's why. Don't want to get him injured.

Oh like Artavis Scott isn't the starting WR? Silly me.

Appreciate the insightful response.

Tay receives punts because he is sure handed. Can't risk Refrow and his freshman moments.

So what you're saying is that it's obviously the personnel around him, right? I mean, I hope that's what you're saying since he had the team-high just LAST year.

If you look at the depth charts across all games, he has been listed the most times as starting kick off returner, which is why I asked why we haven't been using him much in that capacity. You don't go from a team-high in 2014 to "not good at it" in 2015. Talent doesn't evaporate. Such idiocy on her some times.

So why is he listed on the depth chart as the kickoff returner? What the #### does it have to do with my math? If 21.2 avg was the team-high, it's still the team-high, no math necessary. Doesn't change the fact or the question I asked. How many snaps has Ray Ray had to get that 31.86 since you're the mathematician. Can't even ask fkn questions anymore geez. You'd think with all the good news around us that people would be in better moods! :)

you were obviously not a math major. Most AARP members can return the ball to around the twenty. Not sure why Scott and Cain aren't back there b/c Fuller isn't any better than Green.

Hey! Don't insult us AARP members - I realize that I would be lucky to even catch the ball much less run with it. I also realize that if the returner can't get to the 25, he should just take a knee in the end zone. Of course, we have to return the kicks that are short of the end zone and if we have to start at the 20, # 4 will not have any problem with that - just adds 5 yards to his total yardage stats. The new rule about kicking from the 40 hurt chances for big returns and the rule about touchbacks putting the ball on the 25 made short returns even less desirable.
