I believe crutch had been recruited by Brent Venables and he knew we were recruiting him to play LB. I believe Crutch had another vice that brought him to The Vols.

Crouch was afraid Clemson might force him to move to a position he didn't want to play?? We have plenty of good RBs, don't understand why he thought we might forcibly move him to that position.

I don't know who was recruiting Crouch but the coaches don't always recruit the positions they coach. The one I thing I did see on the 2019 list of recruits is that Clemson had him listed as a running back. I also heard he wanted to play LB but the Tigers had alreadyvrecruited and signed stud LBs. If Pruitt and TN want the project to make him a LB that's good enough for me because he probably would have been a wasted scholarship at Clemson. Hope he has success in life.

lmfao. we were recruiting crouch as a lb, period. sure he may have gotten a few packages on o. fact is that pruitt got in the kids head and convinced him he would be the cornerstone of his new program.

The more I read about this guy then it makes it even better he went to UT. He may be a good athlete but in 3 years of high school he only had 50 (25 solo and 25 assists) total tackles, really??? The other LBs we recruited and signed have that in 2 or 3 games. He obviously wants the individual assurance and cares only about himself rather than competing for any position. It doesnt work that way at Clemson. You have to earn it.
