Re: FB Update: Jury members selected in Howard's Rock vandalism case

Jul 20, 2015, 2:39 PM

Judge Jim Barber asked over 100 potential jury members about their affiliation with Clemson University and if any of them had previously taken pictures with Howard's Rock or had touched it. Eventually they were able to find twelve jury members including seven males and five females.

So does this mean the bulk of the Jury will be scar jr fans?

You can bet his coot lawyer wanted coots on the jury***

It would be nearly impossible to get an unbiased jury on

Jul 20, 2015, 3:01 PM

this one. All Clemson and SC fans should be struck immediately.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

So just Georgia fans?***

I'm hoping that there are at least 12 Clemson fans/grads on his jury, and at least 12 Clemson fans/grads as alternants. That should easily get him to where he can continue on with his rock breaking fetish!!!

Man, you have to admit; the Auburn tree killer is funny. He takes football way yonder too serious. That's coming from someone who takes it pretty serious.

Waaaay yonder too serious. I saw an interview with him and sort of felt sorry for him. He legitimately had no life outside of bama sports. I'm passionate about Clemson football...but I'm not going to go deface the usuck campus. It's a great example of how some people can take something good and noble and use it for ugly.

That punk deserves it. 10 years of jail with 6 months of #### plowing. He will be too dragged out after that for anyone to hit it.

Jul 20, 2015, 10:07 PM

I'm surprised they didn't move to have the case move to a non biased jurisdiction. As someone who was on a murder case jury, they grill you on everything. Can't believe they found 12 good jurors.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: FB Update: Jury members selected in Howard's Rock vandalism case

Jul 20, 2015, 11:36 PM

This is not exactly a murder charge. Howard's rock is after all a rock that apart from sentimental value has a mineral value of a few cents.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

It is a felony though

Jul 21, 2015, 4:39 PM

because the value isn't based on the mineral value, it's based on the valuation given by a memorabilia expert, which came out at over $10,000. (the actual valuation was likely much higher but the highest threshold for the charge is $10,000 or greater).
