Just ordered 7 new suits from M.H. Frank.

Will go pick them up as soon as I can sell a car to free up some liquidity.

I have no idea how those folks stay open

Mar 18, 2020, 11:26 AM

I love their clothes, and service is excellent. But I've been out of college for a long time, and still can't afford to buy clothes there.

I bought an "Interview suit" there when I graduated (1987)

Mar 18, 2020, 11:32 AM

I haven't saved enough money yet to go back again.

But I still wander through occasionally - the stuff there is awesome and the service is great...

I don't have a lifestyle that requires very expensive

I tend to spend more money on Simms and Columbia

Mar 18, 2020, 11:37 AM

shirts than anything else. At this point, I do have e sizable investment in PFG shoes--I try to catch them on sale at West Marine.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I like the Carhartt t-shirts and long sleeve shirts

Mar 18, 2020, 11:42 AM

They're good for fall/spring since they're a little heavier. Outside of that all I have are PFG shirts in various colors and Clemson t-shirts. I'm telling you man, cut the sleeves off a PFG and you'll instantly have your favorite shirt.

Then I buy like 6-8 new work shirts every year and a few pair of 'dressy' pants and call it good.

I don't really want a shirt worth more than $50

Mar 18, 2020, 12:38 PM

too much pressure, can't enjoy wearing it.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

My most favorite shirt is a $70 Simms long sleeve

Mar 18, 2020, 12:42 PM

Its just cut differently and better than other shirts.
