Probably lose 3 TEs this year. Only recruiting 1?

Seckinger graduates, JJ got kicked off the team, and Leggett seems like he has is mind made up to turn pro (the fact that he said he's already made up his mind and that he's going to wait until the end of the season to announce it because he doesn't want to be a "distraction" pretty much proves he's gone. It wouldn't be a distraction if he were to say he's staying). Only JC Chalk is committed. Are we gonna have to scramble for a less talented guy just to fill numbers. JJ really blew it because everything was set up for him to be the man next year.

We'll have...
1. Garrett Williams - 4 Star
2. Canon Smith - 4 star
3. Milan Richard - 4 star
4. JC Chalk - 3 star ( should be 4 star )
On the roster. A lot of teams don't even have one 4 star TE much less the talent we'll have. We'll be fine.

I guess the other ? is why does a spread team have 7 TEs

anyway. This year we had Leggett, Seckinger, JJ, Williams, Greenlee, M. Richard, and Cannon Smith. Spread teams don't typically play with a bunch of TEs. Why did we have so many to begin with?

We are not a spread team.. We are a "power" running team out of a spread formation. TE's are for blocking.

We have been over our TE number for a couple of years. We still have 5 guys ... Garrett Williams, Milan Richard, Cannon Smith, D.J. Greenlee & J.C. Chalk. NOT TO WORRY!

#3 and #2 TEs in their class from two years ago (so, Soph or RS Fresh), and we have Williams from last year's recruiting class (also #2 TE in his class). I think we'll be fine.

Leggett isnt ready for the NFL. He needs to get stronger and another year will get him there.

Love your single mindedness! Leggett has been a huge weapon for Clemson! I am not the least bit worried in this area for 2016 and beyond.
