Why the in-depth coverage of the Spector brothers?

Aug 31, 2020, 2:40 PM

We now have the second in-depth article on one or both of the Spectors.

They are Tigers and I hope they'll be big contributors. But we have a lot of new blue-chip guys we'd like to hear about.

This reminds me of the Mickey Plyler coverage of Willy Korn.

I'm hoping it's just a function of the limited access to the team right now.

They are brothers, on the same team (always an interesting angle), and both are looking to have break out years. Also, we haven't heard a whole lot about them until now.

I am going to guess...

That in part it is because they are 2 of the players the reporters have been granted access to in order to interview. Player and Coach interviews since COVID have not been as expansive as pre-COVID.

That is my guess as well. Something is better than nothing.***

Its a two for one tigernet special.

One interview yields two articles.

They usually occur during dead periods when not a lot is happening or reporters don't have access.

They should end once we start playing.
