Be humble Clemson faithful. Rejoice only after the job is done hopefully tomorrow and again next Saturday. Lord willing.

Was David being prideful when he stood up to Goliath? Or was he just confident that his God was more capable of helping him win that fight? I only use an example from the Bible because of your quoting a scripture. I don't think Scar is Goliath, or Clemson is David (maybe more fitting the other way around), or for that matter... That God is concerned about the outcome of a football game.

I use David as an example because he was confident. He wasn't afraid. Yes, I am sure he knew the risks involved. But he knew, while others doubted, that he had the advantage. David was confident.

I am not a proponent of talking trash. Maybe others are and I am sure they are prepared to deal with the outcome either way. However, I see no problem with Tiger nation being confident that Clemson will win. Let them predict a victory. It will be okay.

I would say if anything, the scripture quoted in regards to pride, would apply more for after a Tiger victory (gloating). Be careful of pride but confidence goes a long way.
