About a month ago I posted that my father had a massive heart attack that had put him into the ICU. He had been fighting hard for the last month, but this past Friday he decided he was "ready to go". We were able to get him him home Saturday AM and he was able to do one of his favorite things, watch Clemson football. Being able to watch one more game with my best friend meant the world to the both us. For a brief moment, things felt "normal" and I wish there was a way I could let Coach Swinney and the team know how much this last game meant to my father. When I found out that my Dad was headed home on Saturday I knew then and there that our beloved Tigers were gonna win! That said, this AM, my Dad left us to join his wife and family in Heaven. I ask that you keep my family and friends in y'alls thoughts and prayers.

So glad you were able to be with him to celebrate the Tiger victory. As a legacy graduate myself, my father is nearing that day. He isn’t ill, but he has had two heart attacks. Please pray for my dad - Clemson College class of ‘64 - Masters in M.E.

...your best friend. As a father myself, that is a great compliment coming from your son. Very sorry for your loss. My dad passed last year, and he was my best friend and I still miss him very much.
