A little girl that goes to daycare with my daughter was diagnosed with cancer this morning. She is only 18 months old. I have not received word on the severity or the type of cancer at this point but as the father of an almost 9 month old daughter I can't stand to think of the pain going through her family right now.
Her mother is a big Clemson fan in spite of the father being a former South Carolina athlete. She is raising her daughter right and frequently brings her to daycare in her Clemson outfits. Please send your prayers for this little girl and her family in hopes of a full and speedy recovery from whatever may be in front of her.

You know you could have just stopped after the first paragraph...none of the rest matters. I would (and will) pray for her regardless of which team her parents pulled for.

I understand that completely. I thank you very much for your prayer(s). I simply added the information about her family as background and to paint a picture. It isn't required for the prayer request but I find that gathering information about people, especially people that I don't know, can create a connection that may cause people to think about her later and possibly choose to pray again.
Thank you again for your prayer for such a sweet child in such a tough time.

Dear Lord,
Hold this precious young girl in your healing presence. Give her your love and grant those involved grace and mercy during this challenging circumstance. Heal her completely if it be your will. You know the needs of this child and the desires of the family.
