Fish or Cut Bait

Fish or Cut Bait
There are a few players who are facing a critical spring practice this year at Clemson.

Perhaps the best example is Joe Gore.

How has Zac Brooks been a disappointment? He broke his foot. Didn't have a chance to play last year.

Have to agree there. Seems going into last spring, he was intended to be the go-to guy...so can't say that shows he was being a disappointment to that point. Just got a case of the injury bug that siold his season short before it began.

the first quarter against FSU and a multitude of other times. Stoudt missed him while open at least 4 times against Wake.

Would you be singing a different tune?

catching the ball is where Leggett needs to improve.

He catches the ball just fine, and as you say, he has been open at times where we failed to get him the ball.

But, to this he's failed to become the physical presence as a blocker that we need to help the offense click.
