In reference to the last sentence from Charlotte Tiger, and I do not know when the email was sent to be fair.

However, Clemson has stolen 12 bases in 4 games. How much more baserunning pressure are you asking for?

Also if by "small ball" you mean sacrifice bunt when a runner gets on base to start an inning, then you will never see it.

Good college baseball teams don't do this. Metrics show that letting the other team get an out after getting the first guy on base is not the way to score enough runs to win.

While the dynamics occasionally do change in late innings when only needing 1 run to tie or win, runner on first with no outs is shown to score more runs than runner on second with one out in a given inning.

Baseball coaches have learned and changed.
