Sorry OOC and lack of CG kill Big XII hopes unless one or more of the other Power 5 champs has 2.losses. Same goes for Boise, plus they started the polls too far from the top.

On Baylor especially, I think the Committee would resend the message that Baylor obviously did not take seriously last year, which is, SCHEDULE SOME REAL GAMES OUT OF CONFERENCE OR YOU WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

Well if they go off of style points as said a number of times last year by to PO committee....Keep playing ugly football and our beloved TIGERS could find their self on the outside looking in. That's fact!

Style points went away with the BCS. It is continued by the talking heads to justify their rankings of SEC teams that haven't played any OOC competition. Playoffs are decided by conference championships, win loss record, head to head competition without point differential and strength of competition.

Guess is it would be Baylor out. But doubtful all those are undefeated. I think Baylor will lose and if rest undefeated then no one but Boise st will care if they're left out. I don't care whether we think people hate us or not a 13-0 acc team who lost one game by 5 pts to the nc last year and wins acc champ, beat Louisville, fsu, auburn does not get left out.

Big 12 and Boise without a doubt.

However, i believe 2004 is the last time there were even THREE undefeated major conference teams let alone 5 (plus Boise).
These are the current odds that S&P+ gives those teams of going 12-0. Conference title games are not factored in so the odds of the non-Big XII teams going 13-0 are even lower.
Bama 36% OSU 19% Michigan 51% (it gives Michigan a 61% chance to beat OSU) Clemson 49% Washington 24% Baylor 4% WVU 3% Boise 29%

Unless two Power 5 champions are really really really bad, the chance of Boise State getting in is not any higher than that of Louisville. In short, they're out!
Just like many have already said it, Big 12 champion is on the out looking in. They'll need to go undefeated and hope champions from the other 4 conferences will lose some. I kinda think, if they go undefeated, they'll be in.
That said, I don't think we'll have 4+ undefeated teams from Power 5. It's never happened before in the history of college football. (4+ undefeated teams from major conferences.)

setting the number of teams. All 5 "Power Conferences" having an undefeated Champion would be their doomsday scenario, and if it ever happens, the fallout from who got left out is when you would finally (and probably not before then) see an expansion of the playoffs.

I see it ended like this:
1 bama 2 mich 3 CLEMSON 4WU
unless texas am beats mama!
1 mich 2 CLEMSON 3 texas am 4 WU
Of course if we have turnovers continue we will not be there!
