That is just messed up. I understand they play at the Valley the year after and they did 3 years ago. They could have figured out a way to not have it 2 years in a row. It may help us the second year but I don't like that we have to travel up there 2 years in a row. They need to join the conference completely or get out IMO.

True that. Sorry I got confused. Atleast it is not back to back years but I still feel like going there twice before they come back down is crap.

Agree. They are a national brand but not as much as 20 years ago. Terrible negotiation by the ACC. ND we are happy to have you but not on “your terms”.

...we beat them the last time we were there in 79, we can beat them again twice. We've been fairly immune to away game losses the last few years and I see no reason that won't continue.
The whole Knute Rockne, win on for the Gipper BS, touchdown Jesus mystique is not going have one molecule of an effect on modern Clemson teams.

If you're counting neutral sites then in the last 3 years we've lost 4, 1 at home, 1 on the road, 2 neutral.
The year before we lost 3, all of them on the road (UGA, FSU, GT).
That being said, the great teams win their home games so the vast majority of any losses we have should be road games, we should rarely ever get beat at Death Valley.
