I want payback !!!

Nov 29, 2018, 9:01 AM

In 2016, we were the best team in college football and we eventually proved it in the CFP.

But, had it not been for one freaky weekend when a bunch of contenders fell, we never would've had the chance because Pitt came into our house and ruined our perfect season.

I remember feeling physically ill when that kick went through the uprights.

Saturday, a bill comes due and I want it paid...WITH INTEREST!

Pitt was not the reason we lost that game.

Your issue should be with the refs and the ACC's oversight of officiating.

Pitt did not win that game. Head Ref Duane Heydt did.

Heydt is a USC grad with a daughter currently attending USC. Heydt is also a business man and owns 2 companies.

One company is his real estate firm in Columbia, which has done a significant amount of business with USC athletic officials. Heydt was the realtor who sold Muschamp his house.

Heydt's other company is a tech consulting firm in Charleston called "Tegra Analytics".

Tegra Analytics does tech consulting and installation/integration services for large corporations and institutions.

Tegra Analytic's BIGGEST CUSTOMER, is the University of Pittsburg.

That is why Clemson lost that game, because the ACC failed to properly vet a referee that had a personal and financial incentive to manipulate the game in Pitt's favor.

The ACC later investigated Heydt and determined his associations with USC and Pittsburg were a conflict of interest, and he was later suspended for the remainder of 2016.

"That is now 21 unanswered point scored by Pitt that have come from highly questionable calls by these officials."

Wow! I remember that he was connected to SCAR but I did not know the rest of that information.
That's incredible.
Do we know who the crew is this weekend?

"Pittsburg" is in Kansas; our opponent on Saturday is from "Pittsburgh ", which is is Pennsylvania.

I agree with a lot of this as there were MANY terrible calls

But give Pitt more credit. Matt Canada (their OC at the time) gave our defense fits all game. We simply could not stop them. I remember listening to Boulware's stories about that game on Larry Williams' podcast. Ben said our defensive players never had any clue what Pitt was doing. They were lost and confused the entire time.

Yes there were awful calls against us but Pitt won that game straight up.

Duane Heydt was the Pitt MVP in that game...

Nov 29, 2018, 9:14 AM

Quite possibly the worst officiated game I have ever witnessed.

There should have been a criminal investigation afterwards.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

Duane Heydt owns a company whose largest customer is the University of Pittsburg.

How in the hell do you miss that when vetting refs? Is the ACC that incompetent?

Yes

Nov 29, 2018, 11:47 AM

Yes they are
