I am starting to get that feeling as well. As much as I want to see our Tigers play, I have learned to accept things out of my control. It’s hard not being omnipotent.

here is an idea. the game is on tv. if you are worried about driving to clemson and watching a game in perfect conditions then just stay at home. this aint rocket surgery people.

Here's a true story . My father retired from the USN in 1979 after 20+ years in .
He got a job as a missile mechanic at the Lockheed facility on the NWS in Charleston .
While working there his chief duties included reworking the physical systems on missile engines after the engineers had determined the solution to a problem .
Thusly , in a loose manner of speaking .. my old man ( TMC Ret. John C. Britt ) was a " rocket surgeon " .

deroberts, since there is a hurricane that has made landfall in the Carolinas, will anyone not attending the game Saturday or anyone leaving early due to weather concerns be considered "not a real fan?"

For all of us that are so concerned for us here in the lowcountry that think The Tigers shouldn't play, we'll be ok. I couldn't leave because of work(some people like the finer things in life like power) but not many people in upper Berkeley county has left. Spot the ball!

15mph wind, then yes, it will be purely a PC decision.
I just hope we don't cave. But the longer this thing drags out without a decision being made, the more likely we are to give in to the media who hopes this storm causes major destruction.
You could see it on the faces of these weather guys. Disappointment that this hurricane wasn't a category four or five.

Just saw a graphic on the Weather Channel and the rain and wind ban should be in the Columbia area at
2:00 p.m. Saturday heading North. Should just get the game in.

This is the most accurate weather service I've found, and it has things all clear in Clemson until 3pm, and even then, it's only a 15% chance of rain. Winds will be in the high teens, but that wouldn't influence them to cancel the game.

The PC Enviro Nazi crowd blew it. Had they not pushed for getting rid of balloons they could have screamed for this game to be played and try to get some balloons caught up in the himmicane (gender neutral bias) that might make it to the coast and strangle a few turtles and then get pics of strangled turtles and blame it all on the game of territorial acquisition that is football.
