a few times when I was a Clemson student. He was the nicest most humble man I've ever met. A true Clemson gentleman. RIP

Football players were tougher back then. It took a real man to play with a leather helmet and tackle a guy that was brandishing a couple of loaded six shooters.

Even then in the 60's he was a legend and highly regarded by the Clemson family.

In 1978 he bent down on 1 knee to shake my 8 yr old’s hand..

Yep..Bonnie Banks along with Bob Bradley & Dean Walter Cox were the finest Clemson Men I ever encountered in Tigertown!
