Petrino did a really good job...

Nov 5, 2018, 8:36 PM

...managing the clock. Still had all his time-outs at the end of the game in case he needed 'em.

He won the time management game. The actual game, not so much.

they were down like 59-3 and they recovered the fumble and we finally got it back . during this exchange he says that could be the break Louisville was looking for. Yeah right

He wanted to get that beat down over as quick as possible. I wouldn't have used any timeouts either!

So, his three keys to the game worked?

Nov 6, 2018, 5:57 AM

1. Time of possession...yep...had 15 more minutes than the Tigers...37 to 22
2. Run more plays...yep...70 to 57
3. Shorten the game...yep...pocketed those timeouts.

Hmmm...needs new keys...me thinks!
