Is it worse to keep up with his recruiting because he has still has interest in Clemson, or to pretend like he doesn't exist because he decommited?

as the #1 recruit in the country, and I don't see any other recruits just ignoring reporters. You guys act like Robert is just out there directly sending you emails with updates of his recruitment, or like he's encouraging his mother not to affirm the decisions he's made (like that would make sense). Quit acting like you've tasted sour grapes, and just enjoy the fact that we have a chance at landing the #1 recruit.

Just like when he was committed to us, but one day would say he's committed the next day he'd say something that wouldn't sound too committed, then the next day he'd say they twisted his words etc.
He's a drama queen.

he said the same thing all along, that he wanted to go to Clemson but that he had a family situation that made it difficult. Family has won out, as you would expect it to, so far. You and another poster in this thread seem to think Robert asked for all this drama, as if he could command reporters to call him or as if he should just not respond when people ask him for a quote. But the guy has been forthright all along, and I don't think anybody can blame him for feeling conflicted before of his family situation. I feel bad for him, more than anything, because I think if it were up to him he'd come to Clemson. But instead, this family drama that he had no hand in creating (except to commit somewhere his mother didn't want him to) has played out in a public way. Be annoyed with the media's pestering, or be annoyed with how recruiting is covered. But don't be annoyed at the kid for being talented enough to be the #1 recruit or just for wanting to come to Clemson. It's juvenile, and it's completely unwarranted.

I think if his mother would support whatever his choice was, and if he weren't under so much pressure from all sides not to come to Clemson, he'd be "all in".
In the mean time, he'll go where he goes. If he somehow winds up at Clemson - great! If not, I'll wish him luck. Like our coaches, I've already moved on.
