Parking at NC State

For people who are going or have been to NC State, whats the best plan for finding public parking? I know there is the fairgrounds, but thats all I know about? And is there free parking or will we have to pay?

The best public (i.e. free) spot for Tigers is next to the Veterinarian Building, south of the Trinity-Blue Ridge Road intersection. Dirt lot, room for tailgating, and it's usually full of Tigers before the Wuffies begin showing up. As you can see, it's fairly easy access from the interstate, and a flat 1/2 mile or so to Carney Finley.

If you park there, look for the flag!

If you can't get in that lot at the vet school, you can turn right onto Westchase Blvd. off of Blue Ridge. There are two lots on the right and a parking garage on the left. you can park in one of those lots. It's $10 or $20. It is on the right before you get to the Vet School. So come in I-40, take Wade Ave, take the Blue Ridge Rd. exit, and take a right onto Westchase Blvd.

Edwards Mill on the opposite side of Edwards Mill from the stadium that used to be public parking for something like $10-15. Rumor has it that it now requires a pass as well. What sucks about all the university controlled/owned lots is that there's no tailgating prior to 4hrs (maybe 5) before kickoff which was not the case with this office building.

Im pretty sure this lot is still open.

That's where I plan to park. The High School across the road will have parking as well.

Also the Triangle Clemson Club is having a pregame party at Rally Point Sport Grill in Cary beginning at 11:00am Saturday for $25 per person with buffet Bar-B-Q and sides. You get two beer coupons and all none alcohol drinks. Plus they have shuttles to and from Carter Finley included in the $25 fee.
