Parking at GT

I will be arriving in Atlanta around kickoff time, maybe a little later. Never been to a game there, could use some advice on where to park so I get to the stadium as quick as possible?
Will traffic be very bad at that time? Any secret routes to help save time?

I just wonder about traffic getting there. Is it better to park farther away and walk a little longer?

Park at any outer MARTA station. Lindbergh is a good one. Take MARTA to North Avenue station and walk a couple of blocks over to the stadium. Stop at the Varsity for some pre-game chili dogs. MARTA will be packed with football fans so safety in numbers and most parking is included with the cost of riding MARTA if you validate your parking ticket at the station before exiting the parking deck.

than parking at the garage? Not sure if you noticed, but I will be arriving a little late most likely.
