Parachutists yesterday reminded me there used to be a guy on our floor who used pack his chute in the hall way. I later heard he was one of the guys on the failed Iran hostage rescue mission during the Carter years. As one would expect he was very gung ho at Clemson during a time when it wasnt so stylish to be so

Be careful 74! You’re treading on dangerous ground. As I embarrassingly found out! Thankfully we have only yesterday’s amazing performance by the Tigers to discuss. Go Tigers

His name wasn't Tommy Wall was it? He would have been at Clemson at that time, went in the Army and was in a Ranger Bat that went in on Desert One. He came back to Clemson as Army ROTC Cadre and Clemson Rangers advisor, 84 to 88ish, and made many of us the officers we turned out to be....including
At least, 3 General officers.

I remember Tom Wall. Jumped with him several times with the Dixie Skydivers.

I also jumped with the Dixie Skydivers in 1978/79. The only year I was at school there. I knew Ed Elsea and his brother Tim to name a couple.
