PAC 12 Championship For the Rose Bowl

Wash & Utes playing for a spot in the Rose. Seems like the "Granddaddy of 'em all" just ISN'T a few centuries later.

It's still hyped as the Granddaddy, but to me, it's just old & overrated.

It’s a pretty great bowl game to see in person. The parade, festivities, and stadium are all iconic. It’s also in the CFP rotation so......what exactly are you talking about?

Well, the fact that it opened around Presidents Harding & Coolidge time (early '20s). Guess it's okay from a historical perspective - like visiting the Parthenon & other ruins. Parking & getting there is a little nightmarish. They keep trying to patch it up - sorta like the old Orange before they gave up on that idea. It's the home of UCLA games (makes the Rose a little money, but not nearly enough). The Rose plays host to soccer & has ties to FIFA (one of the most corrupt sports groups in the world). I guess it just seems like the old Orange - only in ICU & on double life support.

Don't think it's in the same universe as AT&T in Dallas or Mercedes Benz in Hotlanta.
