I don’t recall our fans ever being this belligerent before a game of this magnitude. Looking ahead to a game with Bama and disregarding OSU like this worries me. Even Dabo has provided locker room material which is not usually his style. I think Clemson is the better team and hope to god everyone is justified in their confidence. I’m just a dude sitting on his coach and I can almost feel the hatred, negativity and desire they have for this game. Ryan Day comes across as dangerous and willing to do anything to beat Clemson. Let’s get through this angry team and fan base tonight and go for number 3 in 5 years! Go Tigers beat the Buckeyes!

Calm down. Clemson will win this game. But watching Bama on offense, it will be LSU all over again in the Natty.

now granted that game is not going to happen, but what happened to keeping your head down, shutting your mouth and grinding? The lack of respect is not the Clemson way.
If Clemson wins, Dabo needs to keep his trap shut, instead of providing bulletin board for Bama like he has for OSU.

I think this is going to be a close, hard fought game. OSU is a talented group and they’re not going to go down without a fight. I just hope we bring our A game and we don’t lose to Clemson. Play smart! Go Tigers!

Seems like most losses (not that we have too many anymore) happen after tigernetters confidently post about how we're going to blow out a good opponent as though there's no possibility of losing. Ya know, like when the average prediction is 42-6 over a team that's actually decent and does pose a threat.
But then again, sometimes we do blow those teams out. 
Some will say "it's a good thing we're not playing the game then, huh?", but the players read these boards, and I'm sure during the course of the week the attitude from here can find its way to the team. (I mean, if there was a website with 100,000 members that wrote about you all day, wouldn't you read it?)
So who knows how this game will turn out. Ohio State and Clemson have very similar players in terms of star-rankings and raw talent. I think Clemson's coaching is much better. But the ball can bounce funny, and a HUGE factor in college sports is mindset...so I get the apprehension. I do hope the players are more "FOCUSED!" than the overconfident fans. (But if we win, the smack-talk sure has been fun!)

had the better team last year, and we saw how that turned out. No overconfidence here, but I feel like it is our game to win or lose. Vegas seems to agree. Much more confident than I was going into this one last year.

I’m not just saying we are going to win because I dislike Ohio, I’m saying it because the matchups are out of whack. Granted, Clemson can come out and play a crappy game and Ohio St could have their best night ever, but 1 on 1’s are so lopsided it’s ridiculous. Let’s chat again around 9pm

Fan opinion has ZERO bearing on the outcome of this game. Dabo doesn't say, "Hey guys, T Net is pretty confident, so you go out there and just relax and play around, we got this cuz Tnet says so."
I think the team will be focused.

Your absolutely right. We as fans don’t mean a thing. I just can’t figure out why Dabo has poked a bear so to speak as he has with OSU. He must be certain they have no chance of beating his guys. He doesn’t seem like a man that likes wiping egg off his face.

positive is that I’ve not seen a single player guarantee a win or say this game would be easy. Both teams are motivated and both have something to prove. That’s why they play the game.
