I wish I could still even get upset about our hitting, but the ridiculous number of 0-2 counts and pop-ups on the first or second pitch are just funny at this point.

But you are dead on. We have guys who basically "pose" after swings rather that attempt to him. Look...outside pitches have to be "hung onto" til the last second. What we have are guys "posing" trying to pull those pitches. We need guys to be aggressive/effective...not pretty.

that montgomery kid is one of the best young hands in the country right now. our hitting cant be judged against this kid this early.
