Our Stadium capacity.

I was curious and wanted to see what was some of the stadium capacities around the nation. This is true? Our Capacity is 81,091, and Dallas Cowboy's stadium hold only 80,000?? Kansas city chiefs only 79,101???

Dont forget, college stadiums have benches, pro stadiums have individual seats that use a little more room.

I believe, when Death Valley was the home stadium for the newbie Panthers... it was the third largest NFL stadium.

College stadiums are bigger in general. Most NFL stadiums are big on amenities and selling their tickets at a premium. Poster above me is correct. Most NFL stadium avg around 65K.

The difference in size is bleachers vs stadium seats.

If you filled DV with stadium seats instead of bleachers, the capacity would drop 20 percent to around 65,000.

But stadium seats also tend to lead to a crowd that sits more and makes less noise.

Tennessee, in order to get their capacity over 100,000, decided that the average butt size is only 13 inches wide.

Both Alabama (90413) and Oklahoma (87025) surpassed the 80k number listed as capacity.

If you actually click on the Cowboy Stadium link on the Wikipedia page it says that the stadium is expandable to 105,000
