TV didn't wear colored clothes and why everything else was just black and white (as we called it in those days.)
He and my Mother laughed and never answered. Imagine my surprise when I saw the first "color" TV! lol

Miami had a punt return touchdown called back. My dad played baseball at Greenville High with Sterling Smith who made the tackle in the end zone. My dad always spoke fondly of the Orange Bowl victory over Miami.

these guys, as he was a freshman in '52 after he got back from Korea and grad in '55. It shows yet another reason why i laugh at the traditionalists who argue that we're orange and white and purple should either go away or be minimal. They had Orange jerseys on with Purple pants....now i see with my own eyes why my Uncle would get infuriated with the dislike of Purple by so many Clemson fans.....you want true Clemson tradition? Look at THESE uniforms. Orange and Purple shoved down your throat whether you like it or not because that IS Clemson.

John Facenda. They used him on everything in the '60's and '70's. Probably some guy under contract to do all of the newsreel stuff back then.
