Yeah , that's a hard call . Self didn't give us much credit , but it's hard to pull for dooky except against UNC .

While their fellow students were essentially limited to congratulatory texts or phone calls, Kansas coach Bill Self devoted plenty of air time to lauding the Tigers Thursday during a press conference at Omaha’s CenturyLink Center.

“They were probably the most impressive team, I felt like, in the first weekend,” Self said. “They had a really nice win against New Mexico State, but against Auburn, that was a different level that, I think, probably played at last weekend.

“You’re not going to shut them down. Offensively, you’re not going to be able to attack on the first side against them because they’re so sound defensively and their ball-screen defense is really good.”

Agreed. Coach K has redeeming qualities: 1) US Army veteran

2) West Point grad
3) Coached Team USA many times and clearly loves his country
4) Solid family man - old school Polish Catholic

Self, on the other hand, made no fans among the Clemson faithful last night.

I’m with you Coach K has redeaming qualities where I could never pull for old Roy or NC. Can’t see myself ever pulling for low class N.C. State either
