One of the most fun to watch to be sure. We were a road dog in the game. All week prior Gamecocks were clucking on the radio on how they would win.
The first TD I was happy. We scored early.
The second TD I was excited. We had a 2 TD lead...awesome.
The third TD I was beside myself. I couldn't believe it.
After that I was giddy after ever play we ran. We absolutely crushed them. I was calling my Clemson buddy and we couldn't believe what was going on. They couldn't stop us.
My only regret is we didn't get to 70.
Great fun. Every Clemson fan needs to thank Tommy for this one.

63-17 was the first game my new wife and I took in at Carolina. We left our home in Spartanburg at 2pm and it literally took over 4.5 hours to get anywhere near the stadium to get parked. We were walking into the stadium as the ball was getting kicked off to start the game. Before our butts his the seat we were up 14-0. I could not believe my eyes.
We got the tickets from a friend who happens to be a coot. Tickets were in the coot section right outside the visitor locker room. We had 2 other Clemson fans sitting next to us thankfully because the coot fans were getting upset as the Tigers poured it on. By the time the killing was done the coot fans had all gone home.
Previous to that win we had beaten $3 FSU and then went on to beat Tenn in the Peach Bowl. We were in attendance for both games which was awesome. Tenn fans were real chippy before the bowl game and most were saying we did not belong in the same stadium as their Vols. Needless to say too were gone before the game ended.
My best memories of Tommy Bowden as our coach. I really thought we were onto something after that season, but of course it was not meant to be with Tommy.

at the Dabo camp, and he lit up like a kid on christmas morning! He was stoked talking to some of the other former players about playing in that game and scoring the last TD... LOL

About a year ago, my daughter was at a wedding in MN and she met Chansi Stuckey and sent me a text asking if I knew who he was...
My response was...yeah, he scored the final TD as a QB in our 63-17 win over the gamecocks.
She said he busted out laughing and said he couldn't believe anyone remembered that.

at that game stayed in the stadium until the clock hit 0:00 and therefore saw that TD... LOL
