Anybody following the latest "pay the players" lawsuit brewing in California. It'll go to the Supremes eventually... and who knows the ultimate resolution. Speculation is the dye is cast, and CFB will eventually be just another commercial entertainment option.
I dunno about you, but some how thinking of Hunter Renfrow running the Renfrow Rub Route, catching the Natty pass and then he and DW driving off in the Benz's just takes all the meaning of college sports to me. It'd be nothing more than minor league baseball at that point. Pro is Pro and college is college..please let's leave it that way. But, 5 yrs from now the elite skill positions will make more than most of the coaches.
Likeness will be devalued if we pay players. I bet college sports, across the board, sees a tremendous decline in the next 10-15 years if players are able to earn a salary.
