I had to wait in line through two showings at the Dutch Square theater (and boy was it hot in the parking lot) just to get in for the 9pm show.
And all to just and get the ever-livin heeby jeebies scared out of me. I tried not to show it because I didn't want my girlfriend (later to become my wife) to notice my reactions. But to no avail, because after the scene where the shark pulled the end of the fisherman's pier down into the water and was coming back for the fisherman's legs, she looked over at me and started laughing out loud. I was a wrestler and was quite flexible, so with out realizing it, I had grabbed both of my feet and was clutching them right under my chin.
So I guess it was a good movie, I'm sure that is exactly the reaction the producer was looking for.

That thing was rated PG?? Saw it at Dutch Square as poster said above. Was 8(what were my parents thinking), don't think I went in the ocean that summer.
