Ok.. With Coots feeling left out, I will say some good things about them..

2. Coots are better in playing baseball..in Omaha.
3. Coots play better Girls basketball.
4. coots have a Heisman (I'm jealous!).
5. coots have a 60' banner of Ex- HC.
BUT...
1. TiGS know & win Football much better.

4. TiGS have been ranked #1 more times in FB
5. TiGS have 24 game win margin in FB.

Coots have planted some grass and trees around the roach now. Let's not forget that massive upgrade so they can feel better about their season. Their environmental description has moved from" industrial cesspool blight" to "industrial cesspool blight interspersed with some green space."
That's progress!
Oh, and they still have those cabooses. Really, so much to be proud of for our feathered friends.

Well written Bill, I agree with all of it. That ridiculous 90' banner should have never been raised. As for Clemson not having a Heisman award, there should be one coming very soon if Mr. Watson continues to have good health. If the Tigers can continue to follow Dabo's plea to take care of business one game at a time, the playoffs will be a given. Most older Clemson fans remember the fall of 1981, when that team remained focused and the breaks fell their way that season. For Gamecock fans, it's the painful end of the 1984 season, when a 3-6 Navy team, without their star RB Napoleon Mccallum, plastered an overconfident #2 9-0 South Carolina squad 38-7. Beat Navy, and they're #1 after Oklahoma beat favored Nebraska. The breaks fell for that Gamecock team all season, too, but they didn't take care of business when it mattered against a struggling opponent. Best wishes for the Tigers on Saturday against FSU.....I'm guessing Tigers by 17.
