We ask this every year. There is no philosophy. Run clock down and throw up desperation***

I think you are correct. I see a lot of passed up open looks early to shorten the game.

Dribble around 30 feet from the basket, make 1 pass, jack a three. repeat.

Our offensive philosophy is to have Trevor toss the ball around a bit between Amari, Ross and Higgins and then hand it to ETN and Lin Jay. Even though it makes you cringe, Trevor sometimes runs it himself to score and to squire first downs. I think our offensive philosophy is good except when we try the bubble screens!

Also, NEVER follow your shot, drive to the basket and kick out to the open man. One shot and everybody scramble back for D because that's what we're good at (so they say) ...Church League 101 Basketball fundamentals.

Full disclosure: I did NOT watch the game tonight. Finally got everybody to cooperate putting up Christmas stuff and I forgot ... glad I did

I was really serious, as I just couldn't get a grip on what we were trying to accomplish. I guess we have no inside game at all and have to jack 3's for the entire game. Brownell has used the Bahre and Trapp excuse all season long, but quite frankly, I don't think either or both will have any effect on the outcome of games.
