New OC Mike Bobo is bringing the huddle back to South Carolina football. "No huddle football is very, very effective. It stresses the defense. It allows you to sometimes get cheap yards, but to me football has fundamentally gone downhill because of going so fast."

I think Tempo is over rated. We may as well huddle as slow as we go. I like the fact we do. I hate 3 and out and inly taking 20 seconds off clock. IMO, its about dominating time of possession, not going fast just for the sake of going fast. 500 tv time outs per game rest the defense anyway.

Slowing the game down a lot means the coots only get about 40 hung on them most games.
