Mostly a result of the "let them mug everyone, on every play" philosophy the refs took and the absurd crowd noise. The noise we should have been prepared for, and I am thinking that may have limited our playbook and audibles etc. We are just too good for those factors to make much of a difference. Good times.

ridiculous. I don't discount Venables one bit, but lawd we have recruited a pile of studs. We recruit guys that are either ready when they get here, or are extraordinarily coachable. Our recruiting strategy and execution deserve a lot of credit.

Our best offensive players make it look so easy sometimes, it's easy for us fans to forget...IT A'INT EASY. I'm glad the defense was able to lift up the team tonight, and I enjoyed watching it.
