Odd man out

Sep 23, 2016, 10:56 AM

Many, including myself, thought we would be losing 3 pass catcher's this year, MW, Leggett, and Tay Scott. From what I have seen thus far, Scott is kind of the odd man out these days. Only so many balls to go around, and DW4 always looks MW way first, but now, looking more at Ray Ray it seems. Ray is a baller, but deeper routes are not really his thing. Feeding him on the short stuff, and he can eat big time, but being shorter, he just can't compete as well on 50/50 balls. Long story short, I feel he is back next year. Not necessarily a bad thing. What say you?

I'm saying i don't think Tay Scott woukd be best served entering the draft, at least based on the season thus far. I want to see him get paid when he does go, but unless he goes off big time the rest of the way, his film isn't great. Just not enough of it.

I agree. He has got the ball some just not enough to go around. DW takes what is open and teams are going to cover Artavis after his first 2 years.

Ray Ray is actually a pretty good deep ball threat.

Much better than Artavis, but certainly no Mike Williams. Artavis, last night, did a poor job of finding and tracking deep balls and positioning his body to keep the defender away from the ball. He just does not look like an NFL receiver at this point.
