Is the Oculus finished??? I thought it was supposed to have a lighted Tiger Paw in the top - not just on the side. Sure would be nice to shine that Tiger Paw in the night sky for the ND game.

It was not finished at the last home game, but it looked close. There are no plans for the glass top/paw for the top of the oculus. That was dropped after the initial drawings for the west zone building.

Too bad the initial drawings with the Tiger Paw on top was awesome! It is nice... but just looks so empty! Think about the GY Blimp looking down on the Oculus and everyone viewing it on National TV. They will be looking into an empty aluminum cylinder. The small Tiger Paw on the side too small in proportion to the Oculus. I thought we were "ALL IN"!

I totally agree!! It looks so out of place and EMPTY, especially from inside the stadium.

up a PAW into the SKY....that was the whole reason I was behind it...also from inside the stadium it does EXACTLY nothing for appeal....sux...
