We are really banged up. Our big incoming power back is injured, our 5-star DB is injured, top Wr out for the season, and Carlos Watkins (a force of nature) won't play. Timothy Giff? He didn't get a concussion from blocking anyone. I have my own opinion, but won't express it. Input appreciated.

O-line's definitely going through a rough patch

Sep 25, 2013, 6:02 PM

This game and @Syracuse will show how well they handle it. I trust the coaches to prepare the starting five. And unlike at NC State, I don't expect a defender from Wake or Syracuse to get close enough to Tajh to smell what deodorant he's wearing.

Also, I want to see 90 plays this week. I think we're gonna get it.

Keep an eye out for a player named Nikita...

Sep 25, 2013, 6:22 PM

...don't remember his last name. But he is a tackling machine and he may be in his fifth year. Which means he knows how to play.

Whitlock he is small for a DT but the guy can really play and uses his shorter stature to his advantange in getting underneath OL

I remember Mr. K. When I was a youngster the entire world feared him!

You mean Nikita Koloff?

Sep 25, 2013, 8:25 PM

I agree ... scary guy!

If that is the guy, we are in a heap of trouble.

From what I hear, we had better fear this guy. He will definitely play at the next level. Our OL has got to man up.

I'm happy with 90 plays, as long as we block anyone.

That guy in the picture, I wonder if we could recruit him? He praobably has several years of eligibility left. We need to get on him.

this is why you sign enough OL and not every w/r you can find like Bowden did

Dabo loves him some WRs too

Sep 25, 2013, 6:24 PM

In a way, I'd rather have one extra touch man - WR, TE, RB, whatever, connected to a good QB than an extra front lineman. We have OLs that just don't play as well as they could or should or must and that is the bigger problem. Inconsistency is a bigger problem over skill I think.

So let's go after that mean looking SOB. It would probably take three normal human beings to block him.
Someone contact Dabo.
