So go ahead and call me a coot and an unloyal Clemson fan. But I graduated in 1980 with a masters in ESE. My thoughts are Mack Brown threw the game for his good friend Dabo. How could you not kick the extra point and tie it up. Who knows what will happen in extra ? The UNC defense was out playing our defense all day. We need to find a real OF line coach. I have been saying this for years. If you don't believe me google how many Clemson OL are in the NFL. Not many. They are not tough enough. On any given play watch the OL. They are all standing up while the QB or running back are being mugged. Also I think ETN is playing for the NFL. He doesn't run any where as tough as he did last year. Time for Lin-Jay. Go ahead. Beat away.

Hmm... you might not be disloyal or a coot but to think that Brown threw the game is absurd. They’re playing the #1 team in the country and have a chance to take them out. Go for 2. Go for 2 every time.

You are basically saying your defense which has shut down Clemson can’t do it again. I think you kick it and then it’s a toss up, and the fans made a difference today. Offensive line was really bad, really bad!!

I think brown made the right call. I knew he would doing with 4 mins to go if they scored. Overmatched teams want to win in regulation. Giving the ball to TL on the 25 is usually not good. Their D was better when we were on our own side of the 50.

He didn’t “throw the game.” He tried to win it. BIG DIFFERENCE. Also, UNC’s defense DID NOT outplay Clemson’s defense. Clemson gave up less yards and fewer points.
