only in the ACC in football, no other sports. They are not in the costal division, being that they are not in a coastal state. They are not in the Altlantic division due to the fact that they have no idea where the Atlantic Ocean is. They are in the CCC division, (Catholics, Convicts, and Con men) along with The U, BC, Petrinoville, and FSU. ND can only be in the ACCCG in a year when a new Pope is named AND OJ is parolled AND Bernie Madoff pays off his fines. In other words, never. However, Brian Kelly can be named ACC coach of the year provided they beat two of Wake Forest, Georgia Tech or UVa in the same year, and they do not use any Hail Mary's during ACC play, AND he beats Paul Johnson in the "did you smell that" look contest on any given Saturday.

ND would not join the ACC in basketball due to their national scheduling opportunities and the rumored incident when Bill Laimbeer sucker punched Johnny Swofford. But, again that is just rumor. For those of you confused thinking you remember ND in the ACC tourney, their games did NOT COUNT. All the revenue from the 2015 and 2021 seasons from ACC basketball go to ND as part of Johnny Swoff's great deal that lured ND and their foottball prestige into the ACC.

So the next time you think ND can help us in the Atlantic Division standings by beating Syracuse, it's not going to happen.
