Nothing better than a squalkless Coot.

Sep 24, 2020, 11:39 PM

The Coots were crowing today. This is to be expected though. This is their favorite time of year. Right behind Elvis' birthday and the anniversary of the invention of Spam. It is officially, "Next Year" and reality has yet to sink in. Today a Coot business associate was telling me all about the team, Bobo, Burch, and the return of Achilles. Also, how excited they were to return to their favorite place...Williams Brice. Their major concern was the atmosphere of the stadium with less than 20,000 fans in the stands. Being the nice person I am, I reassured them it would be fine. In fact, it should be reminiscent of the late 3rd and 4th quarters of most home games. Unless it is an instate battle with the Citadel.

In all honesty, they have a statue of a chicken and we do not.

So in other words...

the few fans they do have will have to throw multiple water bottles and middle finger salutes, not to mention double fisted handjobs in the stands, to make up the difference?

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

I heard this morning that they haven't had a sellout for the game.

Even opening with a conference game against a similar foe where they have a chance to win and they can't get people to buy tickets.
