The Big 10 is not done with the ACC and that Ga Tech And UVA are next.

Atlanta is the 9th largest TV market and the B1G doesn't

want to connect regionally with Maryland and Rutgers. What they want is a foothold in the southeast. I am hearing rumblings that Clemson and FSU may be of interest now to the SEC because they would rather invite these 2 schools than allow the Big 10 a chance at getting into the SC and Florida markets.

Also, CBS wouldn't renegotiate the SEC contract after adding TAMU and Mizzou. Thus SEC thinks it might be possible to re-open those negotiations by adding compelling match ups adding Clemson and FSU. Of course this past Saturday's losses by FSU and Clemson might have the SEC rethinking this idea.

I still say VT and UNC or NCSU are the prize to either***

I don't put much stock in the SEC suddenly being interested in us again...among other things, chances of the Big Telewvourteen making inroads into SC and FL are almost nil. That being said, "this past Saturday's losses by FSU and Clemson might have the SEC rethinking this idea" doesn't make a ton of sense either--despite losing, both were competitive, exciting games.

The Big 12 has offered FSU and Clempson. The SEC is not interested. They are interested in the NC and VA markets. So FORGET ABOUT THE SEC...####!!! We better jump on the Big 12 offer or we may be left out in the cold. The 4 big conferences, SEC, Big 10, Big 12, and PAC 12 will be playing for the national championship in 2014 and we had better jump on the bandwagon the first opportunity we get or otherwise we may be playing in a second tier division of the NCAA.
