No super regionals since 2010. Longest gap since...

This 9 season gap is an abnormal long gap for the history of Clemson baseball.

Previous gaps without making at least the super regionals.'

2 years, 2003-2004 lost in regional

2 years, 1997-1998 lost in regional

3 years, 1992-1994 lost in regional (different format)



and from 1981-1990 we did not make it our of a regional.However back then the format was different with only a regional to cows format and a few years we made the regional final which would have been the equivalent of a super regional now

Lot of college baseball teams don't get to play postseason baseball . I am as frustrated as anyone with our lackluster performances in regionals over the last 8 years , but we're not terrible at baseball either ... like some of the folks posting around here lately would like us to believe .

You can point to many things to be negative about but ultimately we have to accept the result for the 2018 season as being averaged between an Atlantic Division title and 47 wins ... and another early exit as a regional host .

he has got to start winning regionals and sooner rather than later. I am tired of watching batters take called third strikes and leaving RISP. There is an obvious need for pitching depth. Let's watch the draft and then see what happens this summer. Monte has signed a good class. Looks like several will be turning pro.
