Next 3 games - gear up for battle

In the past, this stretch would have had me watching the Olympics full time. This year, I'm still nervous but who knows - this team knows how to win.

At FSU
It seems their record is deceptive - took UVA to the wire at home and are 4-2 (vs 2-4 on the road)
So one would predict a split here.
Other than two of the main keys for our team - take care of the ball and hit the threes, does anyone know about the matchup with FSU and other keys to getting a win on the road?

Duke
As it stands now this amounts to a play-in game for the number 2 seed.
Boy I hope they take it to Duke at home.
Like FSU, Duke is also 2-4 on the road this season.

At Va Tech
VT has a 3-3 record at home and will be coming off three straight road games when we play them.
Another tough one. A road win here would be huge.

Thoughts on what it will take to hold the #2 spot going into the ACC tourney?

I would think we'd have to win 2 of those 3 if not all 3.

Not saying we won't win, but this is why people are so quick to turn on a team. It is very difficult to win on the road and especially against ACC competition. Even with all the success this team has had the next three games will be a challenge. I hope you are right.

whatweeatin, I mean if we were to lose two of the three, but looked competitive, we may have a shot as well. Especially if the one win was vs. Duke @ home. At FSU next week is tough.

... but realistically and honestly, the goal is Top 4 finish with the double bye in tournament.

I would consider that a huge accomplishment!

Just doing that would set us up nicely for the NCAAs.

For me anything above that is gravey in this most amazing season.

We could go 1-2 if we win out after and go to the acc championship game. Especially if the 1 is against Duke.
