New Transfer Rule Coming?

Looks like thereby be 4 new transfer rules on the way....

1) allow players to transfer during the summer and play immediately if the head coach leaves during the summer
2) would require schools to commit two years of financial aid for all graduate transfers,
3) allow walk-ons to play immediately after transferring
4) prohibit athletes from competing for two different schools in the same academic year.

#2 means that for a guy like KB the new school would have to commit a scholarship for 2 years despite him only having 1 to play. Probably cuts down on grad transfers some.

Lol if it doesn't eat up 2 years of schollies for 1 year of playing then schools will not hesitate to get grad transfers. A few extra scholarships is small beans.

It is imperative that there be extreme penalties for tampering. When Josh Belk said the Coot coach had stayed in contact he should not have been allowed to go there.

Without a severe penalty there will be constant recruiting of any player that is a back up or struggling academically.

This could become like college baseball where you have to recruit to get them to sign, recruit more if they are drafted to get them to school, and recruit to keep them their senior year.
