Parker were in a similar boat. Or, rather - missing the boat.

Good for TB!!! Can't wait to see him this year!

"after foregoing a chance at the nfl"

As what? An undrafted free agent? Barnes is talented and could have a big year for us but nothing about his production so far warrants a shot at the NFL.

Yeah I agree, not sure why he was considering the NFL. He hasn't done much so far in his career. Hopefully he'll be considered a first rounder by seasons end

I love it! Be sure you show Gurley and Mason what you mean by that Tavaris! I hope you do well this year.

OK. Let's see big mean and nasty starting with the Georgia game. T B had some good plays last year and showed a lot of promise. Hope he is successful on his mission and creates total havoc in the back field of all of our opponents.

Between him and Beasley, Kelly had no chance to do squat in that game. They may be a huge part of the reason Kelly got so PO'd and left. They pretty much smothered him all day long (well, at least the time he was in the game).

From the highlights I saw, kelly wouldve been alot more productive that day if he were allowed to finish his runs. That mightve been part of his frustration, in that he couldnt showcase that part of his game much, and felt like his job was on the line. They blew the whistle everytime a QB was touched, but it looked like Kelly wouldve had some huge gainers if it were live.

Agreed, and Barnes and Beasley were the ones on him.

2015 NFL Draft

Jul 11, 2014, 10:11 AM

We could see four or five tiger d linemen in the next draft. Vic Corey Tavaris Grady and possibly Josh Watson or Deshaun Williams if they have a big year or show more NFL potential.

I always thought Tavaris was going to do good things at Clemson... hopefully this year he can be counted on as a solid and consistent player who steps up and makes a play when opportunity knocks. Knockem around TB!!!!!
