Best assistant coach we have had since Tom Harper invented "Clemson Defense". We will continue to recruit and develop offensive demons but with a DC like BV you can have insane D talent wanting to wear a Paw too.....that is when it can get serious for years to come.

Hmmm...I noticed one prominent redshirt Sophmore DE end that's missing in Venables player comments. Perhaps foreshadowing an early departure we can't afford!

Don't read too much into it. He left several players off that front 7 that will be nasty including Lawson, Ogundeko, and Pagano, all of which have earned some PT and will be dependent upon come 2015. IMO, and I'm sure it's the same opinion you all hold, Lawson will be smart and come back for 2015, be the featured DE and earn a nice grade after next season.

According to what I read, he did not submit eval. paperwork to the NFL. If he didn't, he will be a force to be reckoned with in 2015.

I'll say this, I believe BV when he says that he is a be here loyal guy. And to me that is saying that he will stick with you as long as you're loyal and want him to be the guy. And showing him how loyal Clemson is to him has a lot to do with how much do we want him to be that I'm staying here guy. Will Dabo lay it down the way he did with CM, we'll see. A million a year isn't that much to keep BV from looking around the way the million dollar CM did. And to be as honest as I can, I believe more championships have been won with dominate defenses. And to me with what BV has done with our defense makes him worth as much or more than CM was worth. Pay BV that million$ salary with the annual raise every couple of years and he maybe at Clemson for a very long time. I don't think that BV would be interviewing with every school regardless of address that had a HC position open up the way that CM was doing. The know it All's were speculating at the beginning of every year, will CM be at Clemson next year, every year as long as CM was at Clemson. That had to have hurt our recruiting to some ex-stint with some recruits, even though we are loaded on offense.
