Only say nice things about your opponents. Don't give them any locker room material. I'm sure every coach of every team tells their players this. But the immature players can't help themselves. Now the fans.... We can say whatever we want!!

Agree he's wise and we don't have the proverbial gloves on. But there's a difference in leadership and making bone head claims. Saying months after the 56-7 we weren't that much better, even if you ignore the overall record of each, was indeed boneheaded. With their record compared to our 11-1 that morphed into 14-1 and national championship was, to put it politely, chicken-headed.

The whole interview just shows the difference between Clemson and USuCk. Wilkins will do his talking on the field. And he knows how and when to do it. He’ll be in Bentley’s face a little - usually right after he knocks him on his butt.
