Unfortunately, Ga. Tech is never an "easy win."

Here's the thing I don't quite get...
Last year, GT's offense was only able to really score 1 TD and 2 FG's on Clemson's D; a total of 13 points.
But predictions expect a GT team, who isn't playing as good as they did last year, to score more points on a Clemson D that is looking every bit of the D that Clemson had last year? Not seeing how that comes together...

Not sure I'm ready to say that this year's D is as good as last year's D. This year's D has given up some big plays.
But, I agree that a lot of folks are forgetting how last year's game played out. Yes, we lost 28 - 6, but 17 of their 28 points came directly off of TOs (two were pick sixes) and our O with Cole was horrible and probably set a record for the most 3-and-outs in a game. Our D last year was gassed and still held their O to 11 points.

A TNet member just posted an interesting stat on the D.
http://www.tigernet.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=1493038&ref=front
Through 4 games (Clemson's 2014 D vs Clemson's 2015 D):
2014 Yds/Game: 324.5 2014 Pts/Game: 27.5
2015 Yds/Game: 304.8 2015 Pts/Game: 14.8
They currently are averaging less yards per game and let points per game than the 2014 D did at this same point in the year lasy year (albeit he is right that something could be said about the level of competition of each year to the point). Still an interesting stat.

The uga games 4th quarter debacle skews last year's stats a little. But, this year's 1st string is very similar to last year's 1st string. Salty as heck. Go Tigers! Swat the bees!

if they'd played better in the uga game, stats would be different. AND if my grandma had wheels for legs, she'd be a bicycle!
2015= undefeated so far
not saying this year's D is hands down better, Im just sayin' they've gotten the job done so far.

Our previous home win streak was from 2011-2012. It ended to the coots in 2012, not to FSU in 2013

I think it stinks. I'll be disappointed if we score less than 35-40.
On our side, I think we have pretty much dominated against the run and will again tomorrow. GT may get lucky on some pass plays but not enough to score more than 14.
I see a pretty comfortable win.

Clemson is going to have to quit that stuff! I love me a good game but the last 2 have come close to causing my kids to grow up without a father. Get it together this weekend Tigers & lets go whoop some bee @ss!

With bad weather projected again, this could be a close one and a nail biter. Hopefully, the offense lights it up and the defense stays disciplined. Tech will pull out all of the stops and start the trickery early. Keep the fans in the game and have fun! Lots of heart, plenty of guts. Go Tigers!

Although I will admittedly be worried about every 4th down. Still have flashbacks of Nesbitt picking up like 18 first downs on 4th in 2009.
