how to intelligently handle the recruiting process.....the fact that he and his dad set up a ranking system across multiple criteria and honestly ranked each school/ program accordingly shows how to handle tough life decisions with intelligence and confidence!! This young man has wisdom, class and athletic skills beyond his years!! Welcome home to Clemson, X Man....we are honored to have you!!!

Couldn't have said it better. He is exactly the type of player Clemson is now routinely getting to commit. This just shows that Clemson football will be in even better shape in the future because of the way the coaching staff is now recruiting. We are head and shoulders above that dumpster fire in the midlands of SC

The two guys in the video were tough to watch...I don't think you pronounce his name "Zavier" nor Clemson as "Clemzen". Needless to say, I did not make it through the video, only the article.

Great review for Clemson!

We are really fortunate to have the coaching staff we do. Dabo instills not only football, but morals and integrity into the young men, and that's important. I also like how academics matter, and Clemson has much to offer there. It was also nice to see the perception of the ACC as a powerful football conference is continuing to grow. I think the success of Clemson, FSU, and GT over the past couple of years has helped that; particularly wins over SEC teams, as well as big wins by us over Ohio State and Oklahoma, and even games like BC beating Southern Cal and Va Tech beating Ohio State. The league has gotten better.
It was interesting to see how a national recruit approached his decision, and I'm glad to see Clemson coming out on top in all areas! Go Tigers!

And the conference should continue to grow stronger with the addition of Louisville and Pitt. The jury is still out on Syracuse. They are basically a basketball school, which fits the old school image of the ACC. Unfortunately they have not been relevant since Donovan McNabb. Finally, ND needs to get off the fence and be totally in the ACC. That will be the final piece of the puzzle that moves us back into elite status as a football conference as well as basketball.

Let's just hope Bill Snyder doesn't retire after this year as I think the only job Venables would leave for is KSU...if/when Snyder retires Venables is a shoe-in, and if that were to happen after this season I would imagine this kid would follow him to KSU.

K-State is doing well. If Bill Snyder is planning to retire next year, the next head coach is already on the staff.

well that makes me feel better...suppose it would have to perhaps be the OU job or something in that area with substance enough to lure him as a HC, enough to make it worth leaving what he's got at CU. Thanks for the info!
